There just isn't enough time....

Ok so I am really bad at blogging. I just never seem to have time to sit down and write/post pictures. So I am often really far behind on my blogging but I do keep up with everyone else. So lets see...what's been going on with us??? Grady is almost done with his first year of preschool. The girls are all over the place. Catie is finally walking (at 16 months) My parents were here so we went to Disneyland & Sea World. I went to master Nationals in May and placed 6th in the 100 back. We are looking forward to some down time and possible doing some traveling this year. I have been swimming 6 days a week along with a dryland (a workout such as squats, crunches, etc. for you non swimmers) program. I started doing hot yoga once a week. I am back down to my pre-baby size!! And Lea, Robert & Jaxon moved back to CO last week.

The girls took the same course Grady too last year. But they are much younger then he was. It's amazing that at 18 & 15 months they can swim and float. It is worth every penny I have spent on swim lessons to know that they could save themselves if they feel in a pool (even fully clothed)!!! So here is Abigail swimming

Better late then never!

So I am not so good at blogging. I never seem to have enough time to sit down and type. But I guess late is better then never. So lets see...December was filled with the holidays. My mom, dad and two brothers came down for 2 weeks. So our house was full, 8 adults and 4 little kids. We had a great time. We did some shopping, hit Disneyland a few times, played with the kids and had a good Christmas.
Jan we celebrated Catie & Jaxon's first birthdays! The rest of the month was filled with trying to find a new house. Since we can't get a jumbo loan to buy the house we want, we bought another rental property and are renting a bigger house! So this will be the 9th move for me in 9 years, Crazy. The good thing is we don't have to be out of our current house til the end of the month. And we have the keys for the new place already. So we have some time to move but still a pain with 3/4 little kids. But we are really excited cause the neighborhood is so great. Grady has 3 friends from preschool who live on the street. So we are looking forward to a family friendly neighborhood which we have never had. Also this month...I will be competing in my first swim meet in about 5 yrs. It should be fun, a bunch of friends are going to the meet too. And at the end of the month we will all be heading to Oregon! So a busy month is ahead of us. I hope everyone is doing well! Life in the pool!

So I am back in the pool 6 days a week. It has been great and I am loving it. On average we have been swimming 4500-5000 yards in 1 hour and 15 mins. I recently moved up to lane 2 (1:20 base)...which means I am only 1 lane away from the fastest lane. Which is where I would like to be. A few of us are looking at going to Master Nationals. Should be lots of fun. And the best part of it all is getting back in shape, doing something I love. So far I have lost 20 lbs and 13 inches.

First I must say sorry I have been MIA...it's been busy with the 3 kids...plus Jaxon (& Lea). The last few months have been filled with a new preschool, dr visits, a vacation to Mike's family's lake house, Sea World, the beach, the end of PeeWee sports, Abigail walking and Jaxon and Catie crawling and I have been back in the pool 6 days a week. And to add to all that, we are getting over a nasty cold now.
Anyhow I created a slide with photos to fill you in on what we have been doing. I am sure I will have more to post soon...As the next few weeks are going to be filled with my parents coming for 3 weeks, preschools Harvest Festival, our Disneyland trip, the Pumpkin patch, Halloween, and much more. Hope everyone is doing well!

The past month in one post

Ok so sorry for the long post... It's been crazy busy at the Maples house. At the end of May my mom came to visit for 3 weeks. While she was here we spent the day at the beach with her good friend Susie (& family), went to Sea World, Tom's Farm, a few birthday party's, swimming,PeeWee Sports (3 weeks of basketball, t-ball & soccer) and much more. Also during this time my sister Lea and her son Jaxon moved down here to stay with us til Robert moves down and they find a place. So to say the least my house is a bit crazy with 3 babies (Abigail 8 months, Catie & Jaxon are 5 months) So it's kind of like having triplets. And a 3 year old who could drive anyone crazy.
